Configuring Norton Family House Rules for Time Supervision

Configuring Norton Family House Rules for Time Supervision

Time supervision is supported on Windows computers, Android devices, iPhones, and iPads. The time limit you set applies individually to each device your child uses. For instance, if you set a daily limit of 2 hours, your child can use each device for 2 hours per day, egardless of the number of devices in use.

This feature allows you to easily set time limits or schedule specific hours when your children can use their devices. You can also monitor the total time they spend on their devices, which helps in encouraging healthy usage habits. However, time calculation feature is currently available only on Windows and Android devices.

Based on the house rules you set, time supervision will either block or allow access in the following situations:
  1. When your child reaches the daily time limit you've set
  2. When their device is being used during curfew hours
You can use the Norton website or the Norton Family app for parents to view or adjust these house rules.
