Using Privacy Monitor Assistant

Using Privacy Monitor Assistant

The Privacy Monitor Assistant feature offers an agent-assisted process to help you opt out of data broker sites that have made your personal data publicly available. By doing so, you can enhance your online privacy.

You can submit an opt-out request once every three months. After running a new scan, you can review your Privacy Monitor results to check for any new data exposure.

Raising an Opt-Out Request

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Go to the Privacy Monitor tab to run a new scan and review your exposed personal information found on data broker sites.
  3. Under Your Results, review the list of websites where your personal information is exposed.
  4. In the Privacy Monitor Assistant section, click Submit Request.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the request.
If you prefer to opt out directly on your own:
  1. Click View Details under the website with your exposed information.
  2. Scroll down and click Yes under “Do you want to opt out on your own with Privacy Monitor?” and follow the instructions provided.
