Norton Security and Norton 360 System Compatibility

This article provides detailed system compatibility for Norton products sold at Lenovo.
If the purchased Norton security product supports multiple device entitlements, such as seen in Deluxe and Gamer editions, additional devices can be protected through the Norton client interface, or at the My Norton online portal at https://my.norton.com/

Windows *

Supported Operating System Versions

  1. Microsoft Windows 11 (except Windows 11 SE and Windows in S Mode)
  2. Microsoft Windows 10, version 1803 and above (except Windows in S Mode)
  3. Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 (except RT)
  4. Microsoft 7 (except Starter) with Service Pack 1 or later
  5. Windows IoT editions are not supported.
* Not all features are available on all devices and platforms. 
* Windows SE, Windows in S Mode, and Windows on Arm (Qualcomm processors) are not currently supported in Norton 360.

  1. Intel or AMD processor supporting installed version of Windows
  2. Snapdragon 7c series Arm processor or later
  3. Microsoft SQ series Arm processor or later
RAM
  1. Minimum RAM supporting installed version of Windows
  2. 4 GB or more recommend for best performance running multiple applications

  1. Mozilla Firefox (32-bit and 64-bit).
  2. Google Chrome (32-bit and 64-bit).
  3. Microsoft Edge.

Email Services

  1. Supports email scanning on all POP3 compatible email services.
  2. Support for AntiSpam.
  3. Supports Microsoft Outlook 2003 and later.

Mac

Supported Operating System Versions

  1. Mac OS X 10.10.x or later.
Norton Family Parental Controls, Norton AntiSpam, and Cloud Backup are currently not supported on Mac OS.

Our latest Norton products are compatible with Mac computers with Apple Silicon.
  1. Mac computer with Intel Core 2 Duo, core i3, Core i5, core i7, or Xeon processor.
  2. 2 GB of RAM. 
  3. 300 MB of available hard disk space.
  4. Internet connection for LiveUpdate.

  4. 32-bit and 64-bit versions of all listed browsers are supported.

Android
